I am Lee, a special educational needs facilitator with many years of experience. I have previously worked as a teaching assistant for over 8 years and prior to that I was a police officer for 17 years.
In my Lego sessions I facilitate children's communication skills and emphasise working together, sharing ideas and respecting one another.
Discover the power of Lego to develop children's social skills and improve mental health and well-being.
I offer one to one, or small group interventions using building bricks (Lego) to support social development in communication and learning. Also enhancing personal skills such as resilience and respect.
The interventions are based around two recognised and approved training programmes: “Lego Based Therapy” and “Think Bricks”. The sessions are customised depending on the needs of the individual child/children.
The sessions take place during school hours and are 30 mins or 1 hour. Each session can be 1:1 or 1-3 children.
The 1:1 sessions are based around the “Think Bricks” model.
The 1-3 children sessions use the “Lego Based Therapy” model using roles including an “engineer” “supplier” and “builder”.
The use of Lego to improve communication skills and the development in social interaction.
Up to 3 children - each takes a role from either engineer, supplier or builder to create a specific Lego creation - improving team work, communication and respect.
During the month of September 2025 I am offering a free 30 minute session if you would like to see if this intervention could assist any of your children.
Cost | £20 per 30 minute session | £35 per 1 hour session (per session not per child)
All resources are provided.
Can be booked as and when needed - from one off sessions to whole term, weekly interventions.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the above further, please either reply via email (brikbuddy@gmail.com) or contact me on 07801 697 488. I can also visit the school in person.
